Reflection: I think one of greatest challenges was learning how to use Descript. A lot of my time into trying to figure how to make Descript work. I think if I did a podcast prior that this process would have went smoother. I was also frustrated by how many airplanes go over Claremont, I think I counted 10 when recording this podcast. However, overall this recording this podcast was very fun. I think the in the future I wouldn’t use the transcribe feature on Descript as much and I think I would have tried to put more music/story telling elements into the podcast, as I feel like this podcast was very lecture-y. I think the things I was really proud of was the intro and the conclusion. It was fun interweaving the TikTok at the beginning and choosing the music as well! I overall enjoyed this project and wish I spent more time on it refining the details and also budgeted my time better so I didn’t submit this late.
